What is the strangest food combination you have ever eaten? Of all the strange thing Iâm sure youâve come across in these âdumsor-riddenâ days, your jaw will probably drop still if I were to invite you to a bowl of rice and okro soup. No? Maybe a sumptuous feast of fufu with ground pepper?
These might seem like weird combinations to you, but I have seen people eat some of the above and licked their bowl afterwards. Especially the okro soup and rice, it happens to be a friendâs favorite.
But what of bread and groundnut soup with snails? Or maybe youâd fancy some veggies with your fufu.
Back home, we enjoy fufu [plantain and cassava] with light soup but on one of my expedition, I was warmed by a lovely family who offered me yam fufu with okro stew. I felt goosebumps all over my body.
