Opoku Nti shares secret with Kotoko players

The General Manager of the Porcupine has told the playing body of his idol club to let their performance on the pitch speaks for them.

Opoku Nti believes he managed to live to his dream of becoming a great footballer, because of the attitude he developed by training on his own after the normal training sessions of the team.

Asante Kotoko finished the 2014-15 football season without a trophy and after the season released about 7 players, whiles 12 new players have been brought on board to help the last two seasons’ double champions of the FA Cup and the Ghana Premier league reclaim their titles.

In the attempt of the management to encourage the playing body of Asante Kotoko, Opoku Nti, the General Manager of the club has urged them to put up a good attitude by training extra harder and let their performance do the talking for them and that will let them win the hearts of their supporters.

“Let your performance show on the pitch. When fans criticize you don’t respond with your mouth respond on the field from the very fans who sing ‘crucify him’ will later sing hallelujah, he said.

“Your deeds on the pitch will change the perception of fans. Kotoko made me who I am now and the club has the capability of making you great too. All you need is a good attitude. Train beyond what coach Duncan takes you through. That was my secret as a footballer. Your attitude will make or unmake you.Motivation starts with you.
