Hearts of Oak in order to strengthen its corporate governance have promoted Odotei, who is the chairman of the club’s Strategic Committee to the position of the Managing Director.

He will form his own management team to steer the affairs of Hearts of Oak. The last MD of the club was Gerald Agyabeng Ankrah, who resigned, following the formation of the Strategic Committee, which he was made the Secretary to work under Vincent Sowah Odotei, the Chairman.
The NPP Parliamentary candidate for La Dadekotopon had his first stint as head of the Hearts of Oak management team in 2007.
Hearts of Oak under Sowah Odotei has seen drastic progress in terms of performance and are currently occupying the summit of the league table.
