Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan, donated $60,000 at fund-raising dinner which was held yesterday at the State Banquet Hall ahead of the testimonial match of Stephen Appiah.

The testimonial match of the former Ghana captain, Stephen Appiah kicks off today at the Accra Sports Stadium. Cameroon legend, Samuel Eto’o also pledged $50,000 at the event.
Appiah's former team mate at Cesena, Guissepe Colluci also donated $10,000 at the fund-raising dinner ahead of the testimonial match.
Football icons, Gyan, Eto'o and Colluci, were all given signed balls and framed jerseys from Stephen Appiah.

Ghana Football Association(GFA) officials, former black stars players and a delegation of celebrities were present to support Stephen Appiah.
Asamoah Gyan, Baby Jet, will lead Black Stars select side against Stephen Appiah XI at the testimonial match on Saturday.
Stephen Appiah, earlier this week announced his wife has been supportive for 20 years in his football career.
