The two identified as Kwesi Nyanful, 2 and Kelvin Boakye, 5 according to reports were electrocuted whiles playing near their house after the downpour.

The National Disaster and Management Organisation (NADMO) and the police officials upon the report rushed to the scene and switched off the electrical source in the area and opened an investigations into the death.
The bodies of the two children have since been deposited at the Swedru Government Hospital awaiting autopsy.
