Ebaby Kobby talks career, future of Ghana comedy, 2017 goals and more

Pulse TV caught up with Ebaby to discuss his career and experience in the comedy fraternity, how he broke out, 2016 in review, 2017 goals, favourite comedians and more.

Pulse Chats with Ebaby Kobby

The internet sensation who has garnered a huge following on video sharing app, Instagram, with his farcical pastiches revealed on Pulse TV that he started comedy three years ago with the motivation from his family and first fans.

"I started comedy three (3) years ago with a social media app called Kik. I use to sit back and watch videos but Lil Win (Ghanaian comic actor) inspired me because I liked the way he acts. I incorporated that with the funny parts of my parents' lifestyle.

"So, I started doing videos (skits) based on that and that's how it all started."

Talking about 2016, Ebaby disclosed that it was a good year financially.

Ebaby plans to release more 'real life' skits, host more shows and might release a full movie this year.

Finally, Ebaby argued that Ghanaian comedians are not making impacts because the number of Nigerian comedians overweighs Ghanaians.
