New York escaped convicts, Richard Matt and David Sweat's jailbreak tale is about to become a movie for the world to see.
According to a report on TMZ, the two killers who escaped from a New York prison, are about to get the chance of a Lifetime on TV through Johnson Production Group.
The entertainment company known to have consistently tapped storylines from the TV Headlines, is going to film a show chronicling the escape, the manhunt and hopefully the capture from the vantage point of Joyce Mitchell, the woman who allegedly helped them bust out.
The production company confidently revealed the show can go on air within five months, and they can easily pivot as events warrant.
With movies like Double Daddy and as some of the productions from the company, Lifetime on TV and online streaming network, Hulu, are expected to readily accept the production going by the good relationship the production company enjoys with the platforms.
