Shatta Wale has taken the boldest steps yet in a determined efÂfort to rebuild his battered image and dÂump his bad boy personality.
Weeks after parting ways with his manageÂr, Bulldog, Shatta Wale â real name CharleÂs Nii Armah Mensah â is set to name a teaÂm of top notch professionals to manage his image bÂoth on and off the stage as well as builÂd his brand as a quest to mend his old wÂays which has courted a lot of controverÂsy and trouble for the Korle Gonno music icon.
An insider revealed to Graphic Showbiz tÂhat following broad consultations with aÂll parties involved, Shatta was ready to Âunveil his new management which comprise personalities with a wealth of experienÂce behind them.
According to the source, the core team wiÂll be made up of Julio Cyriaano Olympio,  a Marketing and Events professional who would serve as his Personal and Business Manager.
âAlso in the team is Chris Koney, a CorÂporate Communications Executive who prevÂiously worked with Vodafone Ghana, ChartÂerhouse Productions, MultiChoice Ghana (ÂDStv) and served as the Awards AdministrÂator for the recently held GN Bank AwardÂs.
âHe would be in charge of Public Relations and play the important role of managing the artist's image and relations with the media,â the source added.
The role of a Road Manager will be taken up by William Tekyi Micah. He will be sÂtrategic in liaising with event organiseÂrs and promoters before, during and afteÂr Shatta Waleâs performances at events iÂn and out of Ghana.
Dodzi Kobla Senaya will be Shatta Waleâs Personal Assistant and will be in chargÂe of organising and coordinating his daily schedules.
Both Dodzi and William have been part of the Shatta Movement from its inception and togetheÂr with other members such as Cecil CoÂfie (Blade) and Yussif Alhassan Iddriss Â(Deporti) have contributed to the growth and success of the movement.
The source added âthere is an external Âteam made up of some very influential peÂople including Shatta Waleâs father, Nii Armah Mensah Snr, who has been hugely involved in the financial management of the Shatta Movementâ.
Even before the team officially commenceÂs work, there is evidence of a rebrandinÂg process to strategically position ShatÂta Wale and such subtle moves have already received positive feedÂback from stakeholders within the GhanaiÂan arts and entertainment space, as well Âas the corporate world.
In spite of an ongoing legal case with CharterhousÂe, organisers of the Vodafone Ghana MusiÂc Awards (VGMA), Shatta Wale has submitteÂd entries for consideration for the 2015 awards scheme. It is a huge turnaround for the hit maker, having previously derided the awards and asked not to nominated for future VGMA.
Recently, he openly apologised to Samini havinig previously engaged in numerous public spats with the multiple award-winning artiste whom many consider to be one of Shatta's biggest Dancehall rivals.
