Apparently, human babies are not the only ones who love bedtime lullabies.

A heartwarming video shows the massive mammal being stroked and sung to sleep by staff member, Lek, as the gentle giant drifts into a deep slumber, and even snores once she has nodded off.

The adorable footage was taken at the Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai which rescues and rehabilitates the large creatures, and tourists can spend time interacting with them at the centre.

Viewers have posted reactions to the calming lullaby on the YouTube video.

Another said: 'It is heartwarming to know that there are some people out there treating these beautiful, noble creatures with the love, dignity and respect they deserve.'

The park not only caters for elephants but also provides a natural environment for dogs, cats, buffaloes and many other animals, although it is not specified if any others get the same treatment.
