Police in Kwahu Afram Plains South District are on a manhunt for Fulani herdsmen who allegedly murdered a farmer at Odumasua, a farming community in the area.

The deceased reportedly made a call to his brother, Moses Tange, about the attack on him by the herdsmen but was late in coming to his rescue.
The deceased, Nachanjah Chikpab, is said to have been killed on his farm with his gun.
The badly mutilated lifeless body was dumped about three kilometres away from the scene of the crime by his assassins.

The deceased brother and some other people subsequently got to the place but could not find Chikpad nor his assailants.
They, however, saw clear signs that there had been a fierce struggle.
It took the police and the people of the community three days to find the remains of the deceased.
Police Superintendent Isaac Obeng Dompreh, the Tease Divisional Commander, confirmed the incident to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) and assured of tracking down the offenders who would be made to face the full rigors of the law.
