A model made famous for removing 6 of her ribs to help her look like Jessica Rabbit, is now reported to need corsets to stay alive.

Pixee Fox, 25, has according to reports, removed six of her ribs to allow for a much thinner waist.
Fox is said to have spent over $150,000 on the surgery to reduce her ribs but sadly, following the surgery, doctors have now warned that she would need to wear her corset at all times to keep her organs in their rightful places.

The model had earlier visited the doctor before the surgery, but while being interviewed by TV hosts, the surgeon revealed that he had concerns regarding the complications the surgery may have on body, adding that a corset would be essential to survival, post surgery.
Even worse than the fact that Fox would have to wear corsets at all times to stay alive, is the revelation that wearing the corsets as much as would be required has its own complications.
The surgeon explains, saying:
"It’s recommended to have something to compress your body to keep everything in place after the surgery and also to provide some protection.
"If a person wears it 24 hours a day, then their liver, kidneys and everything else are not going to be in their proper place."

Most people have reacted to Fox's story, negatively, as they are convinced that whatever complications come of the surgery would have been warranted and well deserved.
