4-year-old boy marries four girls at the same time, in Mormon church
About 600 members of the Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints gathered to witness the marriage of Jason Francis Jeffs to the girls whose ages range between four and seven.
Well, that was what happened in a small town of Hildale in Utah where 4-year-old grandson of a Mormon prophet, Warren Jeffs tied the knot with 4 girls at the same time in well attended ceremony.
About 600 members of the Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints gathered to witness the marriage of Jason Francis Jeffs to the girls whose ages range between four and seven.
According to the worldnewsdailyreport.com, the four brides, Alicia, Michelle, Lisa, and June happily swore to be “devoted and faithful for the rest of their lives and all eternity” to Jason Francis Jeffs.
Interestingly, the 4-year-old groom also vowed to “guide all of his wives in God’s path” and “honor each of them with many sons”.
Reports suggest that Utah, especially its Washington county, has gained notoriety in underaged marriages irrespective of its legality or otherwise.
Some men have reportedly married as many as 70 wives.
Jason Francis Jeffs’ early and polygamist marriage was probably not opposed because most Mormon leaders perceive him as a reincarnation of their Founder, James Smith.
