UN reassures support for President's war against B/Haram

The UN chief commiserated with the families of the victims, as well as to the Government and people of Nigeria.

 

Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon on Wednesday reiterated the UN’s support to President Muhammadu Buhari government's fight against terrorism.

Ban in a statement in New York, condemned the bomb attack on Yola, which resulted in dozens dead and scores injured.

He also wished a speedy recovery to those injured.

The Secretary-General reiterated that no political or ideological objective whatsoever justifies the loss of life and terror to which civilians are being subjected.
