Some aggrieved junior doctors are picketing at the office of the Controller and Accountant General's Department to demand payment of their eleven months’ salary arrears.

The 91 doctors have been in the news in the last two weeks over the non payment of their salaries.

The doctors last week gave hint of their action after several attempts to get them paid went unheeded.

They vowed that they will pitch camp at the CAGD until all their salary arrears is paid them in full.

The doctors have also sworn to stay within premises of the CAGD and Finance ministry until all monies owed them are paid.

Meanwhile, Finance minister Seth Terkper has given the assurance that the doctors will be paid in two weeks.

But the doctors say they do not believe the minister's promises as many others promises made to them in the past have not yielded any result.
