Ghana to face Senegal in final qualifier

Ghana will face Senegal in the last qualifier for the 2017 African Youth Championship tournament after beating Ethiopia.

Two goals from Yaw Yeboah and a goal each from Dauda Mohammed and Evans Mensah was enough for the former world champions to ghost past the Ethiopians.

The former champions booked their place to the final round after easing past Ethiopia 5-2 on aggregate while Senegal eliminated Tunisia on 4-1 aggregate.

Black Satellite who in 2015 won bronze at the AYC tourney will play as guests to the young Taranga Lions on July 7 with the reverse fixture on July 21.

The winner of the tie  will qualify for next year’s championship which will be held in Zambia.
