Bahader is therefore set to become the oldest professional player in the world after his latest move.
Egyptian third-division side 6th October has signed Ezzeldin Bahader, a footballer who is currently aged 75.

In a statement on Tuesday, the Egyptian Football Association (EPA) said the septuagenarian is eligible to feature in the Egyptian league this season.
The Egyptian FA said Bahader will enter the Guinness Book of Records once he begins playing for 6th October.

“Today, the Egyptian Football Association has registered the oldest professional player in the world during the current winter transfer period. He is 75-year-old Ezzeldin, who signed for 6 October in the third division,” the EFA wrote on Facebook.
“He is preparing to enter the Guinness World Encyclopaedia of records as he begins his participation with his club.”
Currently, the oldest professional footballer is Isaac Hayik, an Israeli who is 73-years-old.
Meanwhile, Egypt boast the oldest player in World Cup history, following El Hadary’s appearance at the 2018 World Cup at the age of 45.
