Ayew finally joined Fenerbahce on Friday on a one-year loan deal from Swansea City to become the fourth person from his country to play for the Istanbul side.

Former Black Stars skipper Stephen Appiah also joined Fener in 2005 in an Eight Million Euros deal to move from Juventus and enjoyed a successful first season as he helped the club win the league title.
Appiah quit the Turkish club in August 2008 in a row over the treatment he had received on a serious knee injury.
