Germany are gold medal winners of the women's beach volleyball tournament after making light work of the final against hosts Brazil.
The team of Laura Ludwig and Kira Walkenhorst were too good for Brazilian's Agatha Bednarczuk and Barbara Seixas in the end.
After claiming the first set 21-18, Germany showed their dominance in the second to take it out 21-14, winning 2-0.
It is the first medal Germany have ever won in women's beach volleyball at the Olympics since it was introduced in 1996.

It also ended the United States' dominance after they had won three straight gold medals before the Rio Games.
This time out USA had to settle for the bronze, after the team of Kerri Walsh Jennings and April Ross beat another Brazilian pair of Larissa Franca and Talita Antunes in the battle for third.
That match was less straightforward, with USA needing a third set to prevail in a thriller.
The men's final takes place on Friday, with Italians Paolo Nicolai and Daniele Lupo up against Brazilians Alison Cerutti and Bruno Oscar Schmidt.
