2 dead as tanker rams into 207 passenger bus

Two people have lost their lives after a tanker rammed into a fully loaded 207 passenger bus at the Awoshie Junction in Accra.

The police has confirmed the death of the two whose remains have been deposited at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital morgue.

According to an eye witness who spoke to Starr News, the traffic light at the junction popularly known as Baah Yard was on constant amber at about 4.10am. Both drivers thought they had the right of way and drove into each other leading to the death of two people in the passenger bus.

The police is helping to direct traffic at the scene.
