Lawyers for Gregory Afoko have raised concerns over what they describe as an undue delay by the Attorney General to present a bill of indictment against their client in the murder trail.

According to the lawyers, they cannot fathom why the AG has not been able to bring before the court the bill of indictment to enable a full trial of the case to begin after prosecution indicated some two months ago they were going to do that.
Gregory Afoko who is a brother to suspended NPP chairman Paul Afoko, was arrested and charged with murder in June after he was accused of pouring acid on the Upper East Region chairman of the NPP Adam Mahama leading to his death.

Gregory Afoko has been denied bail on three occasions since the case began in June.
