ACS Amplify.HER Ghana Culminates with Live Music Showcase at Republic Bar & Grill

ACS Amplify.HER Ghana, a four-day music industry development programme designed to equip African artists with the knowledge, skills and networks to thrive in today’s music business, will conclude with a live showcase on Friday, 25 July 2026, from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Republic Bar & Grill, Osu.

Hosted by Jambo Spaces as part of the African Creative Sounds (ACS) initiative and supported by Création Africa and Institut Français, the programme has brought together participants from across Africa for an intensive learning experience focused on the business, legal, creative and performance aspects of the music industry.

Throughout the programme, participants have engaged with respected industry professionals through practical workshops and interactive sessions covering key areas essential to building sustainable careers in music.

Day One - Monetization (22 July) focused on helping artists define who they are and how to build commercially viable careers. Sessions explored artist identity, branding and storytelling, public relations, and the diverse revenue streams available to independent artists.

Day Two - Industry Access & Market Entry (23 July) provided participants with a deeper understanding of the business and legal landscape of the music industry. Topics included artists’ rights, copyright, rights management, royalty collection, intellectual property protection, and valuable insights into navigating the African music industry from established industry leaders.

Day Three - Performance Preparation (24 July) shifted attention to the stage, equipping participants with practical tools to become compelling live performers. Through performance coaching, stage presence and visual storytelling sessions, as well as media training, participants refined the skills needed to confidently present themselves to audiences and the media.

The programme will conclude on Day Four (25 July) with the ACS Amplify.HER Closing Showcase, where participants will perform live before invited guests, music industry professionals, media representatives and members of the public. The evening will also include certificate presentations and networking opportunities, celebrating the achievements of the cohort and the connections built throughout the programme.

The showcase promises an evening of exciting live performances that reflect the creativity, growth and artistry developed over the course of the programme.
