The Black Stars have been training in Cape Coast since Tuesday. Red Star Belgrade striker who has been an important of the training proceedings spoke to the media after second training session on Wednesday
The former Ghana U-20 player first highlighted why Ghana will still wanted to win the game against Egypt.
"It is an opportunity to show Ghanaians that we have unity and a good team to make amends for not qualifying to the 2018 FIFA World Cup,” Boakye Yiadom said.
He then spoke about what motivates him in the Ghana Black Stars
"Well to me every day is a new challenge. I am always trying to give my best and be disciplined. I always listen to my coaches and other players who have been ahead like Asamoah Gyan whp encourages young players to give their best.”
He also spoke on the fact that he was overwhelmed by the support from the Cape Coast fans
“I have never been here to play football before but as I am here I can see that they really support the nation and it's a great feeling to have a city like Cape Coast to be supporting you and I think we are going to give our best to satisfy them.''
