On Tuesda, Jose Mourinho stuck with Cesar Azpilicueta at left full back bringing in Kurt Zouma for the right full back position with Gary Cahill and John Terry at the centre of defence.

Former Kotoko and Augsburg player Baba Rahman had no place in the Chelsea defence and had to watch the game from the bench without making an appearance.

Chelsea could not find the back of the net away from home in the UEFA Champions League game as did home team Dynamo Kyiv, ending the game in a goalless draw.
