The Association issued an official press release on Monday to congratulate the winners of the 2016/2017 Ghana Premier League Aduana Stars and the 2016/2017 MTN FA cup winners Kumasi Asnate Kotoko.
These two sides by virtue of their triumphs are to represent Ghana at the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederations Cup respectively.
The Ghana League Club Association also indicated in the press release that the clubs which finished in the top four namely Aduana Stars, West Africa Football Academy (WAFA), Accra Hearts of Oak and Cape Coast Dwarfs have qualified for the G8 tournament.
The other categories of teams which were named eligible to play were newly promoted sides Dreams Fc, Karela FC and Eleven Wonders.
Kotoko was named as the last team to join the earlier mentioned as they qualify as MTN FA Cup winners.
The GHALCA G8 tournament is slated for 6th to 21st January, 2018.
