When Leicester City get the battling fortitude to compete against English Premier League Champions Chelsea for a player, something might sound odd but it’s not based on the 2015/2016 league season.

Leicester City are level on points with league leaders Arsenal in the English Premier League and are looking to boost their squad as the season goes  into its crunch moments.

Ghana international Andre Ayew has proved to be the best transfer signing after the first half of the Premier League campaign and has suitors all around.

Sunderland were the first team to approach the former Olympique Marseille player who is now at Swansea City. The Wales club have rejected the transfer bid with Sunderland expected to increase the transfer money for another approach.

Owner of Premier League Champions Roman Abramovich has been reported interested in the player and the Stamford Bridge outfit are expected to make an approach soon.

L’Equipe names Leicester City as the latest club to rival Chelsea and Sunderland for the services of Ghanaian star Andre Ayew.

Swansea City have had a poor run of form but the Black Stars vice-captain has been a shining star with his performances for the Welsh club scoring 6 goals in 20 league games.
