Sources indicate that the incident happened in the early hours of Monday, November 13, 2017.

An eyewitness narrated that the fire started in a house near the school and spread to other building in the neighbourhood including the Fountain Gate School building.

The pupils of the school have been moved to a safe area.

Meanwhile, at the time of publishing this story the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) are yet to move to the scene.
