Embattled Ace Broadcaster Hospitalised At Police Hospital In Accra

Kwesi Kyei Darkwa, popularly known as KKD has been admitted at the Police Hospital in Accra.

On Thursday January 8, embattled fashionista and radio personality, KKD was rushed to the Police Hospital in Accra, after he appeared in court. He was seen limping with seeming pain in his left leg when he appeared before the court.

KKD who has been charged with rape has denied the allegations saying he had “consensual sex” with the alleged rape victim. Lawyers of KKD earlier petitioned a Human Rights courts to have him bailed after he was denied bail by a Accra Magistrate court presided over by Adwoa Akyaamaa Ofosu.

The Human Rights Court adjourned hearing of the case to January 13.
