Actor recovers fully, returns to Nigeria

Nollywood actress, Ani Amatosero, shared a photo with Mezie via her Instagram page on Wednesday, November 16, saying the actor is back in the country, hale and hearty.

She captioned the post,

“Yaaaaaaaaay!!! Guess who is back? Healthy and healthy and healthy.

“It’s Leo Mezie. Welcome back papi. This testimony na big one. The healing is divine# 1st to see you; I tap into this testimony.”

Earlier reports revealed that Mezie was diagnosed wrongly with malaria, typhoid and pneumonia for over a year and the medications prescribed to him led to the collapse of his kidneys.

The failure of his kidneys forced him to appeal to well-meaning Nigerians for assistance and his colleagues also assisted in raising money for his treatment.

Last month, the actor reached out to his friends, colleagues and fans, thanking them for their assistance while revealing that he has begun receiving treatment.
