Meet the highest paid African footballer, Asamoah Gyan

Ghana's striker, Asamoah Gyan, is the highest paid African footballer after signing with Shanghai SIPG.

The captain of the Ghana Black stars, Asamoah Gyan will earn £227 000 per week.

The 29-year-old signed a two-year contract in presence of his elder brother, Baffour Gyan, hismanager, Samuel Anim Addo,  and Shanghai SIPG general manager, Mr. Chan, who  represented the club.

The Ghana captain joins Sven-Goran Eriksson's revolution from Al Ain where he scored over a 100 goals in four years.
