Germany defender ties the knot with long-term girlfriend

Borussia Dortmund and Germany defender Mats Hummels has gotten married to his long-term girlfriend Cathy Fischer

The 26-year-old World Cup winner tied the knot with Cathy in a ceremony that held on Monday, June 15 in Munich.

Hummels and his partner tied the knot at the Mandelstrasse registry office.

The Borussia Dortmund defender seems to be representing his club as he wore a yellow suit for his big day.

With most players still with their national team, it seems most of his teammates were not around to attend the wedding.

According to local reports from Germany, Hummels and his wife have been together since the defender was 19.
