Samuel Inkoom's football odyssey extends to Turkey where he is expected to seal a big-money deal with high spending Antalyaspor this week.
The former Asante Kotoko defender who is currently on the books of Portuguese Primeira Liga side, Boavista, arrived in Turkey for medicals with the Super Lig side managed by Cameroonian great, Samuel Eto'O Fils.
Eto'O was handed the reins at Antalyaspor as player-manager last month and is keen to add more quality to the roster amid reports they have even targeted Ghana great, Michael Essien who has struggled for consistency at Greek side, Panathnaikos.
Now the widely travelled Inkoom who has had stints in Switzerland, Ukraine, France, Greece and the USA since leaving Ghana in 2010, is close to finding a permanent home in Antalyaspor.
The 26 year old has featured in just 8 of Boavista's 15 league games thus far this term with the club sitting in the relegation zone of the Portuguese top division on a paltry 10 points from a possible 45.
The former Ghana U-20 World Cup winner and 2010 World Cup star has apparently landed in Turkey with his agent, Tekin Birinci to strike the deal.
