The Youth and Sports Minister Isaac Asiamah has expressed discontent in how $8000 was spent on accommodating national team coaches.

Mr Asiamah spoke to the media on the back on the sideline of a forum to establish the Sports Fund.
The state recently acquired a residence for the Black Stars coach James Kwesi Appiah and the Sports Minister spoke to the fact that $8000 a month was spent on coaches accommodation
"We have just acquired a house to accommodate the black Stars coach."

"Can you believe that we used to spend $8000 every month on accommodation for the Black Stars coach?
The Honourable Minster was elated that the funds could be saved for other expenditure.
“Now with this house, we can save that money for other things.”
