The 37-year-old Afro-Dancehall/Afrobeats star was recently attacked by Shatta Wale via Twitter for apparently no reason.

In one of Shatta Wale’s recent Twitter rants with Nigerian music lovers, he jabbed Afrobeats superstar Wizkid, Afro-Dancehall musician Patoranking and Timaya.

He first claimed he doesn’t see Wizkid as a superstar and later took on Patoranking and Timaya for no reason.

Even though Wizkid and Patoranking are yet to respond to Shatta, Timaya has denied knowing who the “Ayoo” hitmaker is.

Reacting to a fan’s request to release a diss song for Shatta Wale, Timaya responded by saying: “Who is this Shatta Wale? I don’t know him until seeing his name on the Internet. I don’t know that guy.

What does he do? Does he sing? Is he a shoemaker or a plumber? I don’t know him, please.”
