Kuo released a “research note that confirmed some key specifications of Apple’s upcoming iPhone, including its camera and its storage options.”

Over the past few months, there have been many leaked pictures of what the iPhone 6s could look like.

There’s less than a week to go before Apple reveals all about the iPhone 6s and various reports have revealed that KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has given a few new pieces of information about the device.

According to 9to5Mac, Kuo released a “research note that confirmed some key specifications of Apple’s upcoming iPhone, including its camera and its storage options.”

Bad news first: the 16GB iPhone 6s will still be the entry-level model. Apple’s profits on these devices are just too good for the company to let go off, although moving things up to 32GB of storage just as a 'thank you' to its loyal user base isn’t such a bad idea … but who are we kidding?

On a better note, Kuo has confirmed that the 6s will have a 12-megapixel rear-facing camera and also says Apple has significantly stepped up the front-facing camera that will now have a resolution of 5 megapixels.

Finally, Kuo says the new camera “may not be equipped with sapphire cover lens, as it still has quality issues on the drop test.”
