Police officers who were shocked at what happened mobilized some funds for the victim and took her to the Central Regional Hospital where she is receiving treatment.

The suspect who is said to be in his 30's was arrested and arraigned in a court.
He was, however, was granted bail after he appeared in court Tuesday, October 31, 2017.
This incident comes on the back of the alleged defilement of a four-year-old girl at Assin Adadiemtem in the Central region.
