Man who allegedly defiled 4-year-old girl walks free as 'gods' declare him innocent
The mother, Monica Nyarko said a chief in the area has refused to seek justice for her, as the chief argued that the community gods say the suspect is innocent.

Ms Nyarko told Accra-based Joy FM at the St Francis-Xavier Hospital in Assin Fosu that, her daughter is in pain and this is really affecting her health.
Narrating what happened, Madam Nyarko said the incident occurred after she had traveled for a funeral.

She said she later realised what had happened to her daughter when she was bathing her upon her return, but the girl was not willing to as she was in severe pain.
The 4-year-old later told her mother that one Kwabena had inserted his manhood in her in a toilet facility, and had warned her not to speak about it else she would be killed.
The suspect, right after the act was said to have brought the little girl back to her home.
She was bleeding and only began passing urine recently.

The mother of the victim reported the incident to the chief of the area and reported the matter to a deity.
But both indicated that the accused person is innocent.
