Cape Coast prostitutes not happy with Black Stars; set to demonstrate

The prostitutes said this is their cocoa season to harvest to enrich their account but the Black Stars have gone to Anomabo

According to the angry prostitutes, they have spent huge money to prepare for the arrival of the team to boost their night business but the management team decided to stay at Anomabo ahead of Cape Coast.

They said they had predicted increased sales when the management team decided to play the Egypt game in Cape Coast but changing the venue has really affected them.

Some of the angry sex workers who spoke to Accra-based Adom FM said "We are very disappointed in the organizers for taking the players to Anomabo to lodge. We always hear about them in Accra and since they have come to Cape Coast, we want to take advantage and enjoy with them."

One of them added: "I have bought new dresses just to meet them and enjoy with some of them and now I have regretted buying my dresses. They should do something about it else we won’t get enough money. We need money and so they should allow the prostitutes to enjoy with them."

The Black Stars held their first training session at the Cape Coast Stadium on Tuesday afternoon ahead of Sunday's last African qualifier for the 2018 FIFA World Cup tournament in Russia.

Twenty-one(21) players including captain Asamoah Gyan took part in the session at the match venue against runaway Group winners Egypt.

The Turkish-based striker was making a return to the squad after missing last month's matches against Uganda and Saudi Arabia.

Newcomers Nana Ampomah and Nasiru Mohammed also trained with the senior national for the first time.
