Ghanaian referee Daniel Laryea has been appointed to officiate at the 2018 CHAN tournament to commence in January.
The Championship of African Nations which is to be held in Morocco had a 24 man list to referee the games at the tournament which features players in Africa playing their various home leagues on continent.
The 30-year-old referee will travel to Egypt will travel on Saturday for a mandatory fitness test for the tournament.
Daniel Laryea is the only Ghanaian officiating in the continental showpiece.

Referee Laryea has handled various matches in the Ghana Premier League as well the CAF Confederation Cup and CAF youth championships.
The last international assignment Daniel Laryea was a part of was the 2017 WAFU which was hosted in Ghana.
However, no Ghanaian referee was named in the(36 man shortlist for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia .
