PSG interested in signing Thomas Partey?

Thomas Party is reportedly a transfer target of French giants PSG.

The Atletico Madrid anchorman has been in imperious form this season for both club and country, having adapted from a defensive midfielder to a more advancing role.

The 24-year-old scored four goals for Ghana during the World Cup qualifiers, and has replicated such hot form at club level, rising to become the club’s joint top scorer this season.

Partey’s form seem to have put some of Europe’s elite clubs on alert, with PSG reportedly preparing a mouthwatering bid for the midfielder.

Reports in France indicate that the French giants want the Ghanaian as a replacement for want-away midfielder Javier Pastore.

The Argentine has struggled for game time this season, with PAG manager Unai Emery preferring a midfield pairing of Marco Verratti and Adian Rabiot.

The report claims that PSG are prepared to offer €35 million for Partey in the January transfer window.

It remains to be seen, though, if Atletico Madrid will be willing to sell their asset, having seen him become an integral part of the team this season.
