Amidah Brimah gets shot at making the NBA with San Antonio Spurs

Young Ghanaian talent finds himself in the Spurs roster as they prepare for the upcoming season

Brimah did make his mark with his college team at the University of Connecticut Huskies as he helped his team win the National Championship in 2014.

Brimah was a champion at his first year with the Huskies.

The Centre did feature in the summer league for Chicago Bulls but he was not able to make the cut but Amida has a shot with another NBA team for the upcoming season once more.

San Antonio Spurs have included Briamh in the 19 man roster for the summer camp towards for the impending 2017/18 NBA season.

Brimah did not however disappoint with the few minutes he got with the Chicago Bulls as he was able to record at least a block in all the 5 games he partook in.

Brimah will have this last opportunity to make the 15 man team for the San Antonio Spurs in the upcoming season.

Brimah ended the University of Connecticut with an amazing record in the NCAA’s as he averaged 6.7 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.8 blocks per game in his four seasons in college.

The 6 foot 11 inch Center was undrafted after completing college but with his great defensive record the 23 year old will look get a chance with an NBA team or the second tier G league in a few years to come.
