Harlequins failed to build upon last week's shock win over Saracens as they lost 47-18 to in-form Wasps, while struggling Worcester edged past Newcastle.
Wasps maintained their perfect start to the season and returned to the top of the Premiership table courtesy of a 47-18 win over Harlequins at the Ricoh Arena.
Ashley Johnson, Guy Thompson, Dan Robson, Elliot Daly, Christian Wade, Kyle Eastmond and Josh Bassett all crossed for Dai Young's side as they secured their 11th consecutive home win in all competitions.
Harlequins, who have won just once on their league travels since January, competed well during the first half, scoring tries of their own through Jamie Roberts and James Chisholm.
But they were unable to add a single point after the break as the hosts pulled away to clinch a bonus-point victory.
There were far fewer fireworks at Sixways where struggling Worcester recorded their first Premiership win of the season, edging out Newcastle 11-9.
South African centre Wynand Olivier bagged what proved to be the only try of the game after 17 minutes, with the rest of the home side's points coming via kicks from Tom Heathcote and Ryan Lamb.
Despite applying some concerted late pressure, Dean Richards' side were unable to breach the hosts' defence, with penalties from Mike Delany and Joel Hodgson ultimately all that they could muster en route to a third defeat of the season.
