Two key players dropped, one more to be excluded from Appiah's 26-man squad over injuries

John Boye, Thomas Agyapong and Afriyie Acquah are suffering from various degree of injuries

Kwesi Appiah excluded John Boye and Afriyie Acquah from his 26-man squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Uganda due to heath issues, while Thomas Agyapong is likely to follow if his health doesn’t improve in the next couple of days.

Kwesi Appiah named a 26-man squad for the hurdle instead of 23 with the expectation that some of the players might not be declared fit to represent Ghana when they face Uganda on 6 October.

The head coach of the Black Stars will monitor the situation of his 26-man squad with their various European clubs over the weekend, before he takes a final decision on which players to drop
