The Black Stars B of Ghana were stunned by the Local Stallions of Burkina Faso after they lost 2-1 in the second leg encounter of the Championship of African Nations (CHAN).
The Burkinabes scored twice courtesy of strike from Adama Barrow in the first 10 minutes of the game with a stunning strike.
The visitors made it 2-0 after winger Herman Nikiema scored a cushion goal in the 28th minute when he dazzled the Ghana defence and struck the ball past goalkeeper Joseph Addo.
Substitute Felix Addo who came on to replace Saddick Adams in the second half grabbed a consolation for the Black Stars B in the 64th minute.
The defeat sees Ghana losing 4-3 on aggregate hence missing out on the competition which will be hosted in Kenya.
