Premier League hails Essien's stunner against Arsenal

Nine years ago, Michael Essien scored a stunning volley for Chelsea against Arsenal at Stamford Bridge.

To celebrate the occasion, the Premier League released the full goal of the month list from December 2006 and it is epic.

Featuring a trademark Matt Taylor long ranger, its followed up with stunners from the likes of Paul Scholes, Didier Drogba, Frank Lampard, David Bentley, Tom Huddlestone and Robin van Persie.
