The Electoral Commission’s Chairperson Charlotte Osei has said that despite what seems to be the displeasure of many Ghanaians about her work she has no regrets accepting the offer to occupy that position.
She mentioned this in an interview with BBC.
“I don’t regret it, it’s not an easy job and it wasn’t meant to be an easy job,” she told BBC in a Facebook interview on Thursday.
Mrs Osei has come under intense pressure after she assumed the office of the EC Chairperson.
She was chastised by the public for what was termed the logo saga as part of a decision to rebrand the EC.

At the launch of the logo and the Commission’s five-year strategic plan, Charlotte Osei said “this is our new logo. We like it. We picked it. It makes us happy and it reminds us of all the values that we want to bring into our work and where we are going as a commission.”
This statement infuriated many Ghanaians who thought the EC boss was not listening to the general public.
