The couple tied the knot in a very romantic, beautiful, outdoor ceremony with family and friends looking on.
Guests at the wedding included the cast of The Vampire Diaries, and Lea Michelle, among others.
Ian's ex, Nina Dobrev, who plays the groom's love interest on TVD, was noticeably absent, but she showed her support via social media.

The groom, Ian, obviously still in the honeymoon phase, sent a lovely tweet this morning concerning his wedding yesterday, it read, "most beautiful morning ever…"
While the bride, Nikki was previously married to singer/American Idol contestant Paul McDonald who she divorced in 2014, this is Ian's first marriage.
We wish them a very happy married life together.
