Music band ‘Fra’ has released its third single ‘Party’ today, April 12, 2017.

The group of young men whose acclaim has accrued as a result of their striking style and versatility, says the song Party is to encourage all and sundry not to worry but be happy and “just party” in spite of their ups-and-downs.

Two years ago, the group came together to form a band that was a mixture of different people with different backgrounds.

‘Fra,’ in Twi, means ‘to mix’ and the group adopted the name to show the strength in the diversity that they are so proud of.

The band released their first single, Dumsor, in 2015, which was a quasi-satire with parallel themes and imagery drawn from the erratic power outages in Ghana at the time and the heartaches being experienced by a lover who lacked affection from his partner.

The group subsequently created the mighty hit Happy Yourself  in 2016.

Now made up of Martin Adjartey, Maxwell Klu, Selorm Dornyoh, Joshua ‘Virgen’ Boateng, and George Ashirifie ‘Gogoe’, the eclectic band is signed to Vision Inspired Music (VIM), which is also home to singers Adomaa, Reynolds, spoken-word act Akotowaa, among others.
