Former eight-division titleholder Manny Pacquiao is set to return to the United States to check up on his recuperating right shoulder which was operated on to repair a torn rotator cuff.
He underwent the correctional surgery in his right shoulder following his decision loss to Floyd Mayweather on May 2 in the richest fight in boxing history.
The Filipino's promoter told ESPN that the boxer is recovering well from the injury.
"Manny says he has been doing well. He said he has been feeling better," Arum said on Thursday, June 25.
Arum also revealed that Pacquiao will return to the United States from the Philippines in earl July to check up on the shoulder with Dr. Neal ElAttrache who operated on the shoulder.
"Manny is coming over to see the doctor and then he will start his serious rehab," Arum said.
"He'll stay here for probably about two weeks and then he will go back to the Philippines.
"One of the rehab guys will go with him to make sure he is doing his rehab program the right way."
Pacquioa is expected to be out for the reminder of the year because of the injury and Arum expects him tio fight again in the first half of 2016.
