Simon Zebo will stay with Munster for at least another two years after signing a new deal with the Irish Rugby Football Union.

It marks a further boost for Pro12 side Munster, who last week tied Zebo's fellow Ireland internationals Keith Earls and Conor Murray to fresh contracts.

Winger Zebo has 21 Ireland caps to his name and is part of Joe Schmidt's squad for the Six Nations, with the champions starting their defence at home to Wales on Sunday.

The 25-year-old also toured Australia with the British and Irish Lions in 2013 and made three appearances for his country at last year's Rugby World Cup.

Speaking about Zebo's extension, Munster head coach Anthony Foley told the club's official website: "It's great to have even more good news on the contract front.

"Simon's record speaks for itself and keeping a player with his experience and versatility is key to our plans going forward so we are delighted that he has committed his future to Munster."

Zebo has made 96 appearances for Munster since making his debut against Connacht in April 2012.
