Growing up the son of an Olympian in pole vaulting and water kayaking, Welbourn naturally gravitated toward athletic endeavors. He spent time doing track and field before pivoting to bodybuilding, where he found his true passion.
Now the 220-pound Colorado server is out to reach victory on Johnson's mountain-like course that tests physical and mental strength. But he has another special attribute in his arsenal: Welbourn looks remarkably like Arnold Schwarzenegger, especially when beefed up.
"People say I look like Arnold," Welbourn says in this exclusive clip from The Titan Games (airing Thursday nights) that NBC provided to Men's Health. He then immediately goes into a (pretty impressive) Ah-nold impression: "Get to the chopper!"
